Chun Yueng Street Wet Market is colourful and chaotic. Strolling through the bustling market, you’ll see stalls selling fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood. Snap a few pictures, then pick up a meal from one of the street food vendors. Try local specialties such as fish balls, stinky tofu and soy-braised octopus.

Egg waffles, traditional dim sum and Tibetan style dry beef noodles are just some of the dishes made famous by North Point restaurants. The neighbourhood is also dotted with international restaurants serving everything from American-style burgers to French pastries. For dessert, indulge in egg rolls from Duck Shing Ho, one of Hong Kong’s most famous bakeries.

Connecting Space was set up by Zurich University and showcases avant-garde exhibits by local and international artists. Nearby Oil Street Art Space occupies a beautifully restored heritage building and is another champion of contemporary art.

At the Sunbeam Theatre you can experience Cantonese Opera, one of the country’s most treasured art forms. The venue has been hosting performances since 1972 and is a great opportunity to experience a night of traditional entertainment.

Getting around North Point

North Point is pedestrian-friendly and easy to get around on foot while taxis are a fast and easy way to get from A to B.
