Sacre-Coeur Paris, also known as the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, is an iconic Roman Catholic church sitting atop Montmartre hill where it commands sweeping city vistas from Paris’ highest point. Since its construction was complete in 1914, the Sacre-Coeur Paris has become one of the city’s most visited monuments, renowned for its intricate Romano-Byzantine architecture and statues.

Getting there
Sacre-Coeur Paris is located in Montmartre in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. There are bus stops around the church, but you will need to walk up steep stairs to reach it. The Château Rouge subway station is about 600 metres away.
