About Korean Folk Village

Step back into the Joseon dynasty and explore Korean traditions at the Korean Folk Village, which recreates the lifestyle and houses of the era. Meander through this fascinating family-friendly site to see 260 replicated structures, including government buildings, farmhouses, residences, schools, shops, and an amphitheater.

Immerse yourself in the historic time period as you watch artisans showcase their age-old methods of blacksmithing, weaving, and pottery. Join in the festivities as you watch cultural dances and ceremonies.

See a nobleman’s house and traditional workshop, then marvel at martial art on horseback and traditional wedding ceremonies. Kids will love the ice sledding site, while visitors of all ages can sample traditional rice cakes coated with bean powder and green onion pancakes. To experience the village’s biggest celebration, time your visit for the “Welcome to Joseon” event in May.
