About Hood River

Nestled on the Columbia River, Hood River is a port town home to arts and food festivals and over 24 sites on the National Register of Historic Places. Considered the “windsurfing capital of the world”, Hood River is also a popular spot for outdoor adventurers looking for mountain biking trails, wineries and scenic hikes.
