About Rome Fiumicino Airport

Rome Fiumicino Airport is located approximately 30 kilometres to the southwest of Rome, and is the largest airport servicing the city and its surrounding area. Also known as Leonardo da Vinci airport, it is the sixth largest in Europe, has four terminals, and receives commercial airlines from all over the world. Its close proximity to Rome also makes it the perfect starting point for an Italian adventure.

It takes little over half an hour to reach central Rome and Vatican City by train from Fiumicino Airport, however, there are areas close to the airport which are also worth exploring.
