Featuring almost 200 hotel rooms and more than 600 serviced apartments, The Address Downtown Dubai towers 302 metres within the Burj Dubai Development Area. It was built by Emaar Properties Group in 2008 and is the flagship property of The Address Hotels + Resorts.
After an illustrious few years as one of Dubai’s premier hotel and residential towers, a fire in 2015 caused by an electrical shortage broke out on the 20th floor of the building, causing extensive damage. Since the fire, The Address Downtown Dubai has undergone reconstruction work to restore it to its former glory, using cutting-edge design and technology. The hotel complex includes specialty restaurants and lounges, a signature spa, health centre and event facilities, and boasts an impressive location facing the iconic Burj Khalifa within the Downtown Dubai development. It also stands right alongside the Dubai Mall, one of the largest of its kind in the world and renowned for its luxury designer brands.
The Address Downtown Dubai is easily accessed from the Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall metro stop, located just to the north-west. Alternatively, there are public bus services along both Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Burj Khalifa boulevards that stop near its entrance.
The Address Downtown Dubai is particularly busy with party-goers celebrating the New Year, with the complex offering fantastic views across to the fireworks at Jumeirah Beach and the Burj Khalifa.
