We stay'd over christmas and new year, and we enjoy'd being at Tropitel. It is a long way from Hurghada city, and we didn't go to town. The best thing about the hotel is the hotel reef and lagoon - just perfect for snorkeling and diving, which we did: 3 great dives with Anwar, and probably 15 times did we snorkel in the lagoon. They have a jetty that is ca 150 m out to sea. The food was ok, they can do better there. Room was perfect and all in all, service was also. The guys at the bar, at the pool, in the restaurant - everybody where very service minded. Music in the lobby bar and lobby was not special, and the reverb in the lobby is not good for music. Other bars and restaurants... well we only did visit them once ;/
