Rochester’s Auditorium Theatre, originally built as Rochester’s Masonic Temple in 1928, is owned and operated by The Rochester Broadway Theatre League (RBTL), a not for profit organisation. The Auditorium Theatre is home to a full season of touring Broadway shows, and also hosts a number of live concerts, comedy, dramatic and family events each year.
The Rochester Broadway Theatre League also holds a number of educational programs for all ages. Children can develop their theatre skills at the three-week-long Summer Stars camp or take a masterclass with professional dancers, Broadway actors or music directors. Be sure to explore some of the nearby cultural attractions, such as the interactive Strong Museum and George Eastman Museum.
Getting there
The Rochester Auditorium Theatre is about two kilometres from the centre of Rochester, which is an easy five-minute drive. Parking is available near the theatre.
