About Saint-Sauveur

Saint-Sauveur is a picturesque town set in the heart of the Laurentians, a Quebec mountain range known for world-class skiing, cobalt-blue lakes and winding riverways. Rue Principale is the town's bustling main thoroughfare, anchored by a beautiful stone church topped by a white steeple. The street is lined with upscale boutiques and art galleries showcasing works from local Quebec artists. You'll also find plenty of cafes, restaurants and artisan delis selling gourmet cheese and wine.

In winter, skiers flock to St-Sauveur Valley Resort, an enormous complex featuring five peaks and over 100 groomed runs. Mont St-Sauveur offers fantastic night skiing, while Viking is famous for its 1.5-kilometre-long scenic toboggan ride. Cross-country skiers will love exploring the 150-kilometre network of trails at Morin Heights.

The Laurentian Ski Museum showcases the region's alpine past through vintage skis, iconic photographs and exhibits on the complex relationship French-Canadians have with winter. The Hall of Fame celebrates famous ski athletes, prominent journalists and key organisations.
