Ko Phi Phi Leh is an uninhabited island situated in the Krabi Province of Thailand in the Strait of Malacca. The island is the second largest in the Phi Phi archipelago and resides 1.5 kilometres off the southernmost tip of Phi Phi Do. It is part of the Hat Noppharat Thara–Mu Ko Phi Phi National Park and serves as an exquisite natural gem for visitors.

The popular 20th Century Fox movie “The Beach” was partially filmed on Ko Phi Phi Leh, resulting in the destruction of some of the area’s natural resources. The incident led to a lawsuit that led to a final assessment of ecological damage.
