About Kabak

Clustered around a small strip of sand, Kabak is a small village on Turkey’s Lycian Coast. It’s one of the most tranquil destinations in the Fethiye area, with its pine-covered valley and picturesque waterfalls attracting nature lovers and yoga enthusiasts. It’s divided into two sections - the village proper along the main road and the guesthouses that lie between the beach and the Kabak Koyu canyon.

Spend endless days relaxing on Kabak Beach, which overlooks the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Sunbathe with a good book and take a refreshing swim before grabbing a bite to eat at the nearby Lazy Fish Cafe. If you’re feeling energetic, you can stretch your legs on part of the Lycian Way, a 509-kilometre-long walking trail that hugs the south-west coast of Turkey. It connects Fethiye with the village of Geyikbayiri along a collection of ancient pathways, mule trails and backcountry roads that offer an authentic slice of Mediterranean Turkey.
