Volcan Baru towers over Chiriqui Province and is a star attraction. It’s one of the tallest peaks in Panama and commands breathtaking views over the surrounding cloud forest. If you're not up for the summit hike, explore family-friendly trails in the surrounding Volcan Baru National Park, where you can spot rare birds like the resplendent quetzal.
