About Central Business District

Situated in Downtown, hemmed between Elliott Bay and rolling hills, the neighbourhood is at the core of most things in Seattle. It is the city's financial and commercial hub, as well as bring the centre for shopping and nightlife. It's relatively easy to explore, with iconic landmarks providing compass points for every visitor.

Columbia Centre is the tallest tower and dominates the modern side of Seattle Central Business District. Smith Tower is from a different era and one of the historical landmarks rising around the old Pioneer Square area. Amongst the urban skyline, visitors will find the Seattle Art Museum and Seattle Central Library, two buildings with stunning facades. Despite its small size, there's also a lot of open space in Seattle Central Business District, with many small parks that are perfect for spending a summer afternoon.
